Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 537720) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year/three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal) Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, with at least 3 years’ work experience, preferably in the administration of taught postgraduate degree programme at a tertiary institution, public/quasi-public organization, or a related sector.

They should be self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A good command of English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua, as well as effective interpersonal and organisational skills and an appropriate level of IT proficiency, are essential.

The appointee assist with administrative work related to taught postgraduate degree programme administration, as well as general office administration and ad hoc/non-routine tasks as required. Work outside normal office hours may occasionally be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

The work location will be at the HKU Kadoorie Centre, Lam Kam Road, Shek Kong, Yuen Long, New Territories .
