Guardrail Installer / Construction Laborer (Travel Required) Pay: $17.25 per hour Per Diem: $30 per day Hotel: Paid by the company Schedule: Monday–Friday | Off Saturdays & Sundays Direct Staffing is recruiting for one of our valued clients that is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join their Guardrail Installation crew.

What We Offer

Starting pay of $17.25/hour $30 daily per diem Hotel accommodations paid Monday–Friday schedule Weekends off Long-term opportunity with room for growth Job Responsibilities Install and remove guardrail systems and wire rope safety fencing. Load, unload, and move materials by hand and with equipment. Assemble guardrail components and bridge end terminals.

Assist with traffic control and flagging operations. Use hand and power tools to install and tighten guardrail systems. Assist with concrete work when needed. Maintain a clean and safe job site. Drive company vehicles as needed. Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.

Qualifications

Previous construction or general labor experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools. Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record . Ability to drive company vehicles when needed. Ability to work well as part of a team. Dependable with excellent attendance.

Willingness to travel Monday through Friday. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform heavy physical labor. Must be able to lift, carry, and move construction materials throughout the day. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions , including heat, cold, and direct sunlight. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods.

Must pass a background check. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be able to comply with random drug testing. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
