Salesforce Technical Lead

We're looking for a Salesforce & AI Technical Lead who can lead from architecture through delivery and isn't waiting around for a perfect spec to tell them what to build. You'll lead Salesforce and AI solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce , while exploring what's possible with LLMs like Claude and OpenAI .

You'll make technical decisions, work directly with clients, mentor developers, and solve problems where the documentation sometimes hasn't caught up yet. In this role, you'll: Lead technical direction: Own architecture and technical decisions across complex Salesforce and AI implementations Build with AI: Turn emerging capabilities across Agentforce, LLMs and AI tools into practical, production-ready solutions Solve the unclear: Take ambiguous problems, ask the right questions, evaluate options, and find a path forward without waiting for a playbook Partner with clients: Translate business challenges into technical solutions and confidently challenge an approach when AI isn't the right answer Raise the team: Mentor developers, lead code reviews, share knowledge, and help the team become stronger technically Stay ahead: Keep up with Salesforce and AI releases and identify capabilities worth experimenting with and applying Own quality: Build scalable, maintainable solutions that go live, stay stable, and hold up as complexity and data grow Lead delivery: Work across architecture, development, testing, debugging and deployment to ensure solutions actually make it into production You'll work with forward-thinking clients, from ambitious startups to established brands, solving problems where Salesforce, data and AI come together .

Some projects will have clear documentation. Others will require you to figure things out.

Requirements

Technical Expertise 8+ years of Salesforce experience as a Technical Lead, Architect, or in a similar senior technical role Hands-on expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce Strong command of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs and integrations Proven track record of architecting and delivering scalable, production-ready Salesforce solutions Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, integration patterns and platform limitations Experience building with Claude, OpenAI, LLMs or agent frameworks outside Salesforce is a strong plus Leadership & Client Partnership Experience leading and mentoring developers and raising engineering standards across a team Strong ability to make technical decisions, explain trade-offs, and provide clear technical direction Comfortable working directly with clients, senior stakeholders and C-suite teams Able to translate ambiguous business problems into practical technical solutions Willing to challenge assumptions and clearly explain when AI is not the right solution Problem-Solving & Mindset You figure things out without waiting for a spec or tutorial You can go from "I've never used this" to a working solution quickly You actively keep up with Salesforce and AI platform releases You experiment, test, and validate before recommending a solution You balance technical excellence with speed, pragmatism and business outcomes Bonus Points Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and Git Experience with additional Salesforce clouds or platforms Familiarity with Visualforce and legacy Salesforce environments Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect Experience building AI applications or agent-based workflows outside Salesforce Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Why MIDCAI?
