• Northwood University Dining Services Team as a Catering Sous Chef! Location: Northwood University, 4000 Whiting Drive, Midland, 48640 Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per Hour Schedule: Monday – Friday (weekends as needed based on business demands) Are you a creative, hands-on chef who enjoys crafting memorable dining experiences? Northwood University Dining Services is seeking a Catering Chef to lead the culinary execution of campus events, from student functions and conferences to donor dinners and special occasions. In this role, you'll develop menus, prepare and present high-quality food, oversee catering operations, and work alongside your team to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and passionate about culinary excellence, hospitality, and developing a strong team. What You’ll Do: Direct food production, presentation, and service for conferences, banquets, and campus events. Ensure exceptional food quality, guest satisfaction, and hospitality standards. Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements. Develop event menus and accommodate dietary and allergen needs. Assist with catering inventory, purchasing, and food cost control. What We’re Looking For: Culinary Arts degree preferred 3+ years of professional culinary experience Previous culinary leadership or management experience Serv.
