General Laborer Employment Type: Full-Time Position Location: Chantilly, VA Pay Rate: $20 / hr. Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly About the Role We are seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers to join our team on a commercial construction project. Your strong work ethic, punctuality, and attendance will help keep the project safe and on schedule.

Position Overview

As a General Laborer, you will support a crew of specialty painters by moving and staging materials, masking work areas, and keeping the job site clean. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions and work safely. Schedule Full-time, project-based position (estimated 2–3 months) Expected start: Nov 16 Mon-Fri, 7:00am – 5:00pm Overtime may be required based on project needs What’s Offered Competitive hourly pay Paid onboarding and training Steady work for the length of the project Team-oriented work environment Benefits eligibility subject to company policy and applicable law Key Responsibilities Move and stage materials for the spray crew.

Mask and protect surfaces before spraying. Clean work areas and remove debris throughout the shift. Follow supervisors’ instructions to complete manual labor tasks. Follow site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Promptly report unsafe conditions and job site hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the United States Reliable transportation to Chantilly, VA Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift Ability to wear a respirator if required (medical evaluation and fit test provided) Strong attendance and reliability Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team Preferred: Previous construction or general labor experience OSHA 10 Working Conditions Work on an active commercial construction site Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting Respirator use may be required Exposure to dust and construction debris Equal Opportunity Employer Positive Pressure is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
