Deaf Support Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon

Senovo is recruiting a Deaf Support Teaching Assistant for an inclusive specialist provision in Hillingdon. This is a rewarding opportunity to improve access, communication and participation for deaf and hearing-impaired pupils. The role

• Support pupils to access lessons, instructions and classroom discussion.
• Reinforce communication strategies and adapt resources with the teaching team.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive peer interaction.
• Contribute observations to teachers and specialist professionals.

About you

• Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired children is desirable.
• BSL or another relevant communication qualification would be an advantage.
• You are attentive, encouraging and committed to accessible education.
