SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Waltham Forest

Senovo is recruiting an SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a positive specialist school in Waltham Forest. The role offers responsibility, variety and the chance to lead purposeful learning with strong support from the class team. The role

• Lead planned learning activities for individuals and small groups.
• Adapt resources and teaching approaches to pupils’ communication and learning needs.
• Support assessment, progress recording and consistent classroom routines.
• Provide confident cover and guidance when directed by the class teacher.

About you

• HLTA experience or substantial SEN classroom experience is strongly preferred.
• You are confident leading learning while working within agreed plans and boundaries.
• You communicate well and bring a calm, reliable approach to the school day.
