Job description

For several years, the organization has been striving to become fully data-driven and relies on a central data warehouse for the production of reports and analyses. In a context of rapidly evolving technologies and business needs, it is now beginning the modernization of this platform by migrating it to the Microsoft Azure cloud.

This transition includes the adoption of new high-performance tools, notably Microsoft Fabric (ETL) and Power BI. To support this transformation, we are looking for two Microsoft Fabric Data Engineers . Mission Design and develop ETL flows in Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, Py. Spark Notebooks, Pipelines) on Azure Cloud Implement BI-oriented data models following Kimball / Snowflake methodologies Develop fact tables, dimensions, and aggregates in the Data Warehouse according to priorities and planning Ensure the quality, reliability, monitoring, and performance of processes and data flows Manage monitoring, traceability, alerts, and error handling for data flows Automate deployments using CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub) Work closely with the ICT team to ensure consistency across systems and solutions Connect to various data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, XML, flat files, etc.)

, understand their structure, and optimize extraction Comply with defined technical standards: naming conventions, security, governance, monitoring, CI/CD Follow internal guidelines and procedures, both technical and organizational Document processes and data flows thoroughly Technical Skills Microsoft Fabric: Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Warehouse Azure: Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse (an asset) Source databases: excellent command of Oracle and SQL Server (connection, extraction, query optimization) SQL: advanced level Py.

Spark: distributed processing for large data volumes DAX (basic knowledge) Data warehouse concepts Kimball modeling: Star Schema & Snowflake, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) ETL/ELT: best practices for sequencing and monitoring CI/CD: Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Data security and governance on Azure Knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect for documentation and modeling is an asset Knowledge of Informatica Powercenter (or willingness to learn it) is a plus Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, including at least 3 years working with Fabric on Azure Cloud Proven mastery of the Kimball methodology for BI Strong experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases Ability to optimize performance and document processes Ability to work collaboratively while following internal governance and procedures FR/NL with a good passive understanding of the other language (mandatory)
