Medical Receptionist

Our Inner West Region is currently seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join the team. This is a casual opportunity and will be a floating role within the region. Working Monday to Friday , between the hours of 8.00am - 5.30pm , with potential weekend work also available. The successful applicant will be based in our Drummoyne clinic and may be required to work across our clinics in Ashfield, Campsie, Five Dock, Newtown, North Strathfield and SMRI as needed.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing an important role in creating a positive and professional patient experience.

Your responsibilities

Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures. Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans. Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA. Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
