Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Job description
Why This Role Matters We’re looking for a CTO who wants to build—not just manage. This is not a “maintain the system” role. This is a 0→1 and 1→100 role where you will shape the technical foundation of a rapidly growing fin-tech company. You’ll work directly with the CEO and leadership team to define how Lenme scales to tens of millions of users.
You’ll make key architectural decisions, build systems that don’t break under pressure, and create a culture where engineers move fast and think independently. We love people who challenge assumptions and bring new, creative ideas to the table. If you’re someone who questions “why” and builds better answers, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do Own the entire technology stack—from architecture to deployment Build and scale a world-class engineering team from the ground up Design systems that are fast, reliable, and can handle massive growth Work closely with product to ship quickly without compromising quality Rethink how fintech infrastructure should work (not how it’s always been done) Introduce new ideas, tools, and approaches that push the product forward Make high-impact decisions with minimal bureaucracy Set the technical culture: high ownership, speed, and accountability Ensure security, compliance, and trust at scale Requirements You’ve built and scaled real systems—not just managed teams You think like a founder and care deeply about outcomes You move fast and are comfortable with ambiguity You have strong opinions, loosely held—and you’re not afraid to challenge ideas You care about product, not just code You’ve worked on high-growth startups or built something from scratch You understand fin-tech (or can learn it quickly) You want to create something meaningful, not just optimize existing systems Benefits You’ll have massive ownership and direct impact on the company’s future.
You’ll help redefine how lending works for millions of people You’ll work with a small, fast-moving team that actually ships You’ll be encouraged to experiment, take risks, and bring bold ideas If you’re excited about building, scaling, and rethinking fin-tech—and you have ideas you’ve been waiting to execute—let’s talk.
