Key Responsibilities

Provide appropriate basic emergency medical care within the EMT scope of practice. Assess and monitor patients throughout transportation. Assist with patient movement, lifting, loading, and unloading as needed. Respond professionally and efficiently to emergency situations. Maintain accurate patient care reports and transportation documentation.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare facilities, and medical personnel. Ensure assigned equipment is maintained, clean, and properly stocked. Follow applicable safety procedures, company policies, and medical protocols. Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

Current EMT certification required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Current CPR/BLS certification, as required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Ability to safely assist with patient lifting and movement. Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to patient care.

Previous EMS or patient transportation experience preferred.
