EMT Full-Time Day Shift

EMT FULL-TIME DAY SHIFT Lynx Massillon | Massillon, Ohio Pay: $21 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift Location: Massillon, OH Position Type: Full-Time Position Overview Lynx Massillon is seeking a professional, compassionate, and dependable Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team for the day shift. The successful candidate will provide safe, timely, and high-quality patient care and transportation while maintaining professionalism throughout daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide appropriate basic emergency medical care within the EMT scope of practice. Assess, monitor, and support patients throughout transportation. Assist with patient movement, lifting, transfers, loading, and unloading as needed. Respond promptly and professionally to emergency calls and patient transportation requests.

Maintain accurate patient care reports and transportation documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare facilities, dispatchers, and medical personnel. Perform vehicle and equipment checks to ensure the ambulance or transport vehicle is clean, safe, and properly stocked. Follow established medical protocols, company policies, and applicable safety procedures.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy requirements. Monitor patient needs throughout transportation and promptly communicate any changes in condition. Complete shift handovers and communicate relevant patient or operational information to incoming staff. Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate approach when caring for patients.

Qualifications

and Requirements Current EMT certification required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Current CPR/BLS certification, as required for the position. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in stressful situations. Ability to safely assist with patient lifting, transfers, and movement.

Dependable attendance and punctuality. Availability to work a full-time day-shift schedule. Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care. Previous EMS or patient transportation experience preferred.
