Engineer - Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Associate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The Associate QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. They will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and reliability before reaching customers.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of software development, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices. Review and analyze requirements specifications to ensure thorough understanding. Execute manual test cases and analyze results to verify software functionality. Report bugs and errors to development teams promptly and accurately.

Assist in troubleshooting issues, providing insights for resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle. Perform API testing to validate integration points and functionality. Write basic SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Test batch processes, including batch uploads and file drops. Engage in automation testing (via Playwright), utilizing various tools and frameworks. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). Experience in writing test cases, bug tracking, functional testing, and regression testing.

Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, with a focus on reliability and performance. Proficient in Black Box Testing, Test Execution, Defect Tracking, and Test Estimation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to debugging and troubleshooting. Familiar with version control systems (Git, SVN).

Familiar with test management tools like Jira, Test.
