Summary: The Grant Development Associate plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s mission by identifying, securing, and managing grant funding. This entry-level position is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with 0–2 years of experience in fundraising or grant management. The Associate will assist in the full lifecycle of grant development—from research and proposal writing to submission and reporting—ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution.

By maintaining meticulous records and contributing to strategic resource mobilization efforts, the Associate helps strengthen the organization’s financial sustainability and impact. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and provides a strong foundation for career growth in development and philanthropy.

Responsibilities

Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals and funding priorities. Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting grant proposals, reports, and supporting documents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant activities, including submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.

Support the preparation and submission of grant applications in coordination with program and finance teams. Track and manage donor and funding records using CRM or database systems. Prepare periodic resource mobilization and grant activity reports for leadership review. Collaborate with program staff to gather data, narratives, and impact metrics for grant reporting.

Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and organizational policies throughout the grant lifecycle.
