Position Overview

Technical lead for a small squad. Raise code quality, reduce delivery risk, and maintain velocity even during turnover, sick leave, or vacation leave.

Key responsibilities

Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, and documentation Lead design and implementation of complex features, stay hands-on with code Establish quality gates in CI, coverage targets, static analysis, and performance budgets Review PRs, run design reviews, and mentor developers to upskill the team Own technical planning, estimations, and risk management to protect timelines Ensure knowledge sharing and reduce single-point-of-failure risk via pairing and docs Collaborate with Product and QA to ship reliable releases on schedule Requirements 6+ years in software engineering with 2+ years as a lead or tech lead Strong in at least two of the following: TypeScript and Node.

js, Go, .NET, React, Flutter Solid understanding of systems design, APIs, data stores, and performance tuning Excellent communication and stakeholder management Nice to have Experience in regulated environments and secure coding practices Prior work with Kubernetes, cloud services, and observability Lightnet Group is an equal opportunity employer.
