Family & Children Medicaid - Eligibility Caseworker I

As part of our Economic Services Division, our goal is to deliver timely and accurate benefits while ensuring clients have access to vital resources. As an Eligibility Caseworker I – Family Children’s Medicaid (FCMA), you will be responsible for: Interviewing individuals by phone or in person to assess Medicaid eligibility Evaluating financial and personal information to make eligibility determinations Assisting clients with economic benefits, community referrals, and other resources Processing applications, re-determinations, conducting reviews, and maintaining case documentation Utilizing NCFAST and document management systems for case tracking and accuracy Providing backup support to fellow caseworkers and managing reports
