Job Description : EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma: High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience. Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE BLS

• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. Surgical Technician Certification (TS-C, CST, or NRST) is required to be eligible for incentive, if allowed per the Collective Bargaining Agreement for union-represented employees. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN Two (2) years scrubbing experience at CPMC required. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies. Requires communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Requires flexibility to accommodate: Emergencies. Changing schedules. Changing priorities. Pay Range

is $56.50 to $67.51 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
