Facility Receptionist - Part Time

Maria Joseph Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, helping create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who enters our facility.

Position Summary

The Receptionist provides administrative and clerical support while managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, assisting residents and families, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role requires excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome and direct visitors, residents, and family members Answer and route incoming telephone calls Assist with facility communications and overhead paging Receive, sort, and distribute mail Maintain resident census and contact information Enforce facility visitation procedures Provide clerical and administrative support as assigned Handle situations calmly and professionally Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information Promote a positive and professional image of the facility at all times Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous receptionist, office, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer and internet skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to multitask and work independently Long-term care experience is a plus but not required Benefits Flexible Scheduling Employee Referral Program Supportive Team Environment Job Type: Part-Time Work Location: In Person Facility Type: Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center #FSHP
