Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Westland, MI. This role involves providing quality nursing care to our clients in their homes, ensuring their health and well-being while supporting their independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and support to patients as prescribed by physicians and according to care plans.

• Monitor patients’ health by observing their physical and emotional conditions and reporting changes to the healthcare team.

• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and maintain accurate documentation.

• Assist with patient mobility and daily living activities as needed.

• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.

• Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting is a plus.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple care responsibilities effectively.

• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Westland, MI.
