Financial Technician

You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the FUNDS ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTING BRANCH of NETPDC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ( GS-05 ) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Applying payroll/leave rules, and automated timekeeping concepts; auditing timecard entries to meet strict bi-weekly submission deadlines; 2. Reviewing invoices, shipping documents, and line-item accounting details against automated databases/ERP systems; verifying funding availability and certifying payments; 3. Providing evaluative monitoring of financial exception/error reports, researching transaction histories, and resolving unmatched disbursements or rejected invoices; and 4. Performing customer service functions such as responding to pay financial inquiries, guiding supervisors on procedural rules, and engaging with external payment centers (e.g., DFAS).
