Roles & Responsibilities: # # C++ Software Engineer – Qt/QML | Surgical Robotics ## Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on C++ Software Engineer with strong Qt/QML experienceto work on advancedsurgical robotics applicationsused in operating rooms fororthopedics and cranial procedures.

The role involves developing and enhancing application-layer software, designing integration layers between system components, and contributing to architectural improvements across a large-scale,safety-critical C++ codebase. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals, experience building complex desktop/UI applications usingC++ and Qt/QML, and the ability to work effectively in a highly regulated and quality-focused engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, enhance, and maintain application-layer software using C++ and Qt/QML. * Develop robust and maintainable software for surgical robotics applications. * Design and implement integration layers between various software and system components. * Contribute to software architecture, design improvements, and modernization of existing codebases.

• Analyze complex technical problems and implement reliable, high-quality solutions. * Work across a large-scale C++ codebase with a strong focus on performance, reliability, maintainability, and safety. * Collaborate with software, systems, robotics, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, debugging, and troubleshooting. * Develop unit and integration tests and ensure adherence to software quality standards. * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes. * Identify opportunities to improve development processes, code quality, and engineering practices.

• Work within Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. ## Required Skills & Experience * Strong 5+ years hands-on experience in C++ software development. * Strong experience with Qt and QML for application/UI development. * Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Experience developing and maintaining large-scale or complex C++ applications. * Experience designing and implementing software integration layers/interfaces between system components. * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. * Experience with Git and modern software development practices. * Experience working with CI/CD pipelines; GitLab CI/CD experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Sonar. Qube or similar static code analysis/code quality tools. * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. * Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-quality code. ## Preferred Skills * Experience developing medical device, surgical robotics, robotics, or embedded software.

• Experience working in safety-critical or regulated software environments. * Knowledge of software development standards and quality processes used in medical devices. * Experience with GitLab CI/CD. * Experience with Sonar. Qube and automated code quality checks. * Exposure to hardware/software integration.

• Experience with real-time systems or embedded Linux. * Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and integration testing. * Experience working with complex distributed or multi-component systems.
