Key Responsibilities

Dishwashing & Sanitation Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and efficiently Ensure all items meet health department sanitation standards Kitchen Support Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed (trash removal, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces) Break down and clean workstations, prep areas, and kitchen floors Support chefs and kitchen staff during prep and breakdown periods Organization & Storage Properly organize clean dishes, equipment, and supplies in designated storage areas Assist with maintaining clean dish rooms, shelving, and storage spaces Safety & Compliance Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and uniform standards Report equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership promptly Qualifications: Qualifications & Skills Prior dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to assist where needed and follow direction Schedule & Work Environment Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required High-energy commercial kitchen environment Must be comfortable working around heat, water, and cleaning chemicals
