• Philadelphia, PA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Coffee and Beverage Production Assistant Location: Philadelphia, PA Department: Beverage Operations Reports To: Director of Food & Beverage About Us: 12th Street Catering is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Coffee and Beverage Production Assistant to support daily beverage operations for catering events and deliveries. This position's primary focus is the brewing, preparation, organization, and distribution of coffee for events and clients. Secondary responsibilities include beverage production, inventory organization, receiving, and event beverage logistics. The role also provides support to the Director of Food & Beverage with beverage department projects, inventory management, and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee Production & Event Preparation Brew coffee according to daily event and delivery requirements. Prepare, portion, and package coffee for catering events and client deliveries. Organize and stage coffee urns, airpots, and related equipment for event distribution. Ensure the correct type and quantity of coffee is prepared for each event.

Clean, sanitize, and maintain coffee brewers, urns, airpots, and related equipment. Monitor coffee inventory and maintain established par levels. Beverage Operations Assist in the production and preparation of nonalcoholic beverages, including specialty drinks, mocktails, juices, syrups, cordials, punches, iced teas, and garnishes.

Receive, store, rotate, and distribute alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Organize, pack, and distribute beverage products, mixers, and event supplies. Maintain beverage inventory and communicate product shortages. Support loading, unloading, and movement of beverage products, pallets, and equipment. Work closely with warehouse and event teams to ensure accurate beverage distribution.

Department Support Assist the Director of Food & Beverage with beverage department organization, inventory projects, and operational support. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary beverage production and storage areas. Follow all beverage handling, storage, labeling, and safety procedures. Support additional beverage, warehouse, and production needs as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and organized with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced production environment. Able to lift and move 50+ pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
