Inventory Control Specialist
Job description
Description U.P.PRO provides inventory management and supply chain services to leading global companies. We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory-control operations in a complex manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role requiring strong ownership, analytical skills, and collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor end-to-end inventory-control activities. Ensure alignment between physical inventory and ERP records. Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Coordinate cycle counts, inventory audits, adjustments, and scrap processes. Monitor inventory movements and support the resolution of material, shipment, BOM, and inventory-related issues.
Maintain accurate reports, controls, documentation, and SOPs. Drive corrective actions and operational issues through resolution. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and the use of AI tools. Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, finance, and global operations teams.
Requirements
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations. Hands-on experience with inventory reconciliation, physical counts, discrepancy investigation, and inventory controls.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems. SAP experience is a strong advantage. Strong Excel and data-analysis skills. Very good written and spoken English. Ability to work independently and drive execution without direct authority. Proactive, assertive, organized, and solution-oriented approach.
Willingness to work on-site on a daily basis. Advantages Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing. Experience developing reports, dashboards, or inventory controls. Experience working with global teams. Familiarity with automation, AI, Power BI, or similar digital tools.
