Job Summary

Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish station, three compartment sink, and staff cafeteria. Job Specifications: Expected Pay Range: starting $19.00 per hour The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.

Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-time year-round or full-time seasonal positions available Weekends and holidays Job Responsibilities: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment. Daily cleaning of the kitchen which includes sweeping and moping all the floors, stoves, hood vents, griddles, grills, and closing down the dish area.

Properly organize and store clean dishes, equipment, and utensils in their designated areas. Empty, clean, and sanitize trash and recycling receptacles as needed. Job Requirements: Three months of experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds as needed.

Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and sanitation. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks. Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
