Position Summary

GH Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Asset Operations Coordinator to support the daily execution of our fleet operations. This role serves as a critical link between drivers, equipment, operations, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure assets are utilized efficiently and freight moves without disruption.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and takes ownership of operational details from start to finish. What You'll Be Responsible For Fleet & Asset Management Monitor truck and trailer utilization throughout the day Track equipment availability and operational status Assist with trailer assignments and asset positioning Identify and communicate equipment issues impacting operations Driver Support & Communication Serve as a point of contact for drivers during daily operations Assist with route updates, scheduling changes, and operational support Escalate urgent issues to the appropriate department when necessary Ensure drivers receive timely and accurate information Operational Coordination Monitor active freight movements and operational execution Maintain accurate notes, updates, and system records Coordinate with Maintenance, Safety, Recruiting, and Operations teams Support smooth transitions between shifts and departments Administrative & Reporting Update internal tracking systems and operational reports Document delays, equipment concerns, and service issues Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy Assist leadership with operational projects and process improvements Who Thrives in This Role This position is a strong fit for individuals who: Are highly organized and detail-oriented Communicate clearly and professionally Stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly Can manage multiple priorities simultaneously Take ownership and follow through on responsibilities Enjoy working in a fast-paced transportation environment Qualifications Required Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Experience working with schedules, tracking systems, or operational data Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or brokerage Familiarity with fleet management systems, GPS tracking, or transportation software Experience supporting drivers, equipment, or freight operations Why GH Logistics Stable Monday–Friday schedule Fast-paced transportation environment with growth opportunities Exposure to fleet operations, asset management, and logistics execution Clear expectations and opportunities for advancement Join a company focused on accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence Ready to Apply?
