2 Months Contract with a Local Authority Umbrella - £16.00 per hour

• Umbrella Job Purpose As a Cleaner , you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment within an Early Years / Sure Start setting, ensuring facilities are cleaned to a high standard for children, staff and visitors. Key Duties/Accountabilities
• Clean classrooms, communal areas and offices.
• Clean toilets, washrooms and welfare facilities.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Dust and sanitise surfaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures.
• Report any maintenance or health & safety concerns. Essential Experience Required
• Previous cleaning experience.
• Experience working within schools, nurseries, children’s centres or public buildings desirable.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Understanding of cleaning methods and hygiene standards. Additional Information to Note
• Working Hours: 10 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday.
• Shift Options: 06:00 - 08:00 OR 16:00 - 18:00.
• Sure Start Beeston Fields, Nottingham, NG9 2RG.
• Early Years / Children's Centre Environment.
• Enhanced DBS Required.
• DBS Update Service Evidence Required.
• Enhanced DBS with Barred List Required.
• Reason for Hire: Long-Term Sickness Cover. Response Deadline: 05th December 2026.
• We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
