Experienced Painter

Overview

What will you be doing? We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team and support the maintenance and visual appeal of our resort. This role involves painting interior and exterior surfaces while ensuring a high standard of workmanship and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, efficiency, and a commitment to enhancing our property for guests and owners.

Responsibilities

Painter/Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preparing work areas prior to painting projects Applying finishes such as primers, sealers, and topcoats to various surfaces Cleaning, taping, and protecting surrounding areas of job sites Removing existing paint or coatings as necessary Mixing paints or oils to achieve specified colors and consistencies Transporting materials and tools around job sites as assigned Performing cleanup duties and maintaining a tidy work area Repairing, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces Installing, patching, and replacing drywall as needed Performing various maintenance tasks as assigned Other duties as assigned Qualifications What are we looking for?

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays Prior work experience as a painter, and with drywall repair Proficiency with painting tools and equipment Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures Familiarity with safety guidelines and ability to read labels and warnings Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members Responsibility, reliability, and honesty Teamwork and collaboration Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors What can you look forward to?
