Senior Executive, Legal

Contract lifecycle management (i.e. contract request, drafting and review, approvals, execution, storage, retrieval and renewal or termination). Provide ongoing advice, support and guidance on legal matters to all relevant stakeholders. Identify, assess, and manage the legal to mitigate existing and potential legal issues.

Provide ongoing assistance for the implementation and operationalization of AGB’s policies, procedures, frameworks within the respective business units and provide internal guidance, advice, training to the relevant stakeholders. Work closely with the relevant stakeholders across Boost Connect and AGB group including but not limited to finance, procurement, audit functions and address and mitigate legal risks to ensure such risks are holistically and adequately addressed.

Development and implementation of initiatives to ensure compliance, such as Bank Negara policies data protection and/or anti-bribery policies, processes or procedures in respect to agreement drafting, Provide ongoing assistance to ensure relevant stakeholders are adequately trained in matters such as data protection and/or anti-bribery and corruption.

Any other support required in relation to legal matters to support the growth and development of the business. Job Requirements: Minimum Second Class Upper or equivalent Bachelor’s degree preferably with some form of legal background. Demonstrable experience of influencing and managing stakeholders and strategic thinking, prioritization with a passion for championing change.

Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, and change management. Familiarity with legal requirements for financial related services will be an added advantage. Must be analytical, a quick learner, adaptive, dynamic and able to grasp new issues quickly. A problem solver with strong organisation skills; a conscientious and diligent worker with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Understand commercial needs and broader business issues. Must possess attention to details.
