Agent in Training- Farmers Insurance

FARMERS INSURANCE Full-Time | Base Pay + Uncapped Commission PUT YOUR PEOPLE SKILLS TO WORK A Farmers Insurance agency is looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, is motivated by goals, and wants the opportunity to build a long-term career in sales. You’ll help prospective customers understand their insurance options, recommend coverage based on their needs, and build relationships that can grow over time.

You’ll receive hands-on training and ongoing coaching, so previous insurance experience is not required. Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, banking, automotive, customer service, or another people-focused role can translate well into this opportunity. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Connect with prospects through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-up
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and current coverage
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Maintain an active pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities
• Identify additional coverage needs and cross-selling opportunities
• Work toward individual and agency sales goals
• Participate in ongoing sales coaching and insurance training WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable starting conversations with new people
• Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential
• Persistent and able to stay motivated after hearing “no”
• Willing to make outbound calls and consistently follow up
• Coachable and eager to improve
• Organized with strong follow-through
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred, but not required
