RN III

The Registered Nurse (RN) III is directly responsible and accountable to the Clinical/Branch Manager for administering and supervising good nursing care in all clinical departments; utilizing a systematic approach to nursing by assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, thus providing continuing health care to individuals, families and communities.

#The RN III typically works in departments such as Urgent Care, Oncology, and Ambulatory Surgery. # # # The RN III is responsible for the medical supervision of all other non-RN nursing personnel within the department worked, including, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified and Non-certified Technicians, and Nurse Aides.

(RN#s are not permitted by the Ohio Board of Nursing to medically supervise a Certified Medical Assistant.)
