The Nursing Assistant

• Hospice Aide works under the supervision of the Director for Hospice and under the direct supervision of the RN Case Manager.# Completes basic personal care, respite/companionship duties for patients at their place of residence; within the hospital system; general inpatient; and any facilities, system or community, depending on the patient placement and according to policies and procedures. # # # Education, Work Experience and Licensure: # ######### High school graduate or equivalent # ######### Formal nursing assistant course, preferably through a vocational institution # ######### Successful completion of Hospice skills test # ######### Preferably one year of experience working in Home Health setting # ######### Valid driver#s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle required # #
