Custodian Opportunities Young Audiences Charter Schools (YACS) Young Audiences Charter Schools is seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our Custodian Team. We are building a pool of talented instructional leaders who are committed to supporting teachers, improving student outcomes, and advancing our mission of arts-integrated education.

This posting is for a variety of Operations and Technology positions across the network, including but not limited to: Custodian Candidates who apply may be considered for current or future openings across our campuses.

Key Responsibilities

In a school setting, a Custodian supports the school by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for students, staff, and visitors. Their responsibilities typically include: Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Safety and Security: Ensuring that the school building is secure, reporting maintenance issues, and addressing minor repairs.

Setup and Support: Arranging furniture and equipment for events, classrooms, or meetings. Waste Management: Collecting and disposing of trash and recycling. Supplies and Equipment: Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies as needed. In short, the custodian ensures that the school environment is clean, safe, and ready for learning every day.
