Registered Nurse- PACU/Recovery Room Weekender

Location: Metro. Health Main Campus- Glick Bi-weekly Hours: 48.00-Weekender Program Shift: Rotating Shifts; Rotating holidays, For nearly two centuries, the Metro. Join our Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU! Primary Patient Population: Pediatric through Adult Immediate post-operative period Primary skills utilized/learned: Maintain patient airway Assess hemodynamic stability and support Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures Assess Wound/incision integrity Overall patient assessment Personnel RN will work with : OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy Number of OR Suites/Cases: 26 beds (Bay platform) 40-50 surgical cases daily Metro.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire Preferred Qualifications: BSN Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
