Ramapo Indian Hills Regional H.S. District Job Posting Assistant Coach- Girls Golf Ramapo High School Application Deadline: November 1, 2026 Reports to: Ramapo High School Director of Athletics and Student Activities Description: The Ramapo Indian Hills Regional HS District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Girls Golf Coach at Ramapo High School for the 2026-2027 season.

The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the girls golf program, fostering a positive environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, drills, and workouts. Provide instruction on golf techniques, strategies, and rules. Support game-day operations, including warm-ups, and post-game analysis. Mentor student-athletes, promoting academic success and development ? Assist with equipment management and logistics with players and parents.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful team culture.

Qualifications

Previous coaching and/or playing experience in ice hockey at the high school, collegiate, or club level, preferred. Strong knowledge of hockey fundamentals, strategies, and safety protocols. Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, athletic staff, and school administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for high school athletes. Availability for practices, games, and team events, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation
