ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Fire Systems Technician Apprentice for an entry-level technical position that provides training and experience in fire alarm systems, kitchen and special hazard fire suppression systems, sprinkler systems, portable fire extinguishers, and more. The duties of this position will be discussed during any potential interview(s).

Problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and to work with a team Attention to detail Ability to comply with Getz Fire Equipment’s drug and alcohol policy, including abstaining from marijuana, as this is a safety-sensitive position. A post-employment physical and drug test are required. SCHEDULE & TRAINING This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, typically between the hours of 7 and 5. In some instances, overnight work will be required as needed. Training is provided on all equipment. This is an entry-level position with a starting pay range of $17–$19/hr., with potential opportunities for growth within the company within the first three to six months.
