Route Settlement Specialist

Job Title: Route Settlement Specialist (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Fort Smith, AR Hours: Tuesday

• Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. We are currently seeking a professional and dedicated Route Settlement Specialist for a local customer in Fort Smith, AR. This is a temp-to-hire position with a starting pay of $15 per hour and the opportunity for a pay increase every 160 hours worked until you reach 320 hours , after which you will be considered for permanent hire with the company.

Key Responsibilities

Perform various duties associated with AS400, responsible for receipt and validation of orders received via EDI. Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve issues or clarify information. Prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high level of organization.

Respond to questions and provide clarification when needed. Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with coworkers and managers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (a higher level of education is a plus). Must pass a background check and drug test (no THC). Previous verifiable experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment is required. Proficiency in the AS400 system is a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Must be proficient in 10-key by touch. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Dependability—must be reliable and follow instructions closely. Follows instructions and responds positively to management direction. Takes responsibility for own actions and holds oneself accountable for results.

Keeps commitments and follows through on work responsibilities. Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Completes tasks on time or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan if necessary. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both in positive and negative situations. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

A professional and positive attitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and management. Punctuality and the ability to ensure work responsibilities are covered in the event of an absence.
