Job description

Your Role

Working closely with our veterinarians and clinical team, you will: Provide compassionate patient care and support veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and medical procedures. Assess and monitor patients throughout anesthesia, providing attentive perioperative care and promptly communicating concerns. Place IV catheters, administer prescribed medications and injections, and perform technical procedures under veterinary direction.

Prepare patients and equipment for surgery, assist during procedures, and support safe recovery. Perform dental cleanings, obtain dental radiographs, and complete accurate dental charting. Monitor hospitalized patients, recognize changes in condition, and communicate findings to the veterinary team. Perform radiography, laboratory testing, and other in-house diagnostics while maintaining accurate medical records.

We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our experienced, collaborative team in Walnut Creek.

You’ll use your technical skills across a varied caseload, contribute to high standards of patient care, and continue growing alongside colleagues who share your commitment to compassionate medicine.
