Accounts officer

Job Profile Position: Accounts Officer Location: Waluj, MIDC Department: Accounts & Finance Reporting To: Managing Director Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, vouchers, and entries in Tally or accounting software Handle day-to-day accounting operations: purchase booking, sales invoicing, expense tracking, and petty cash Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor and customer reconciliation Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, PT, and coordinate for income tax compliance Ensure timely bank reconciliations and oversee payments/receipts Assist in monthly closing, MIS reports, and balance sheet finalization support Liaison with auditors, CA, tax consultants, and government departments Maintain and verify asset register, stock audits, and internal controls Support in budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with Company Act, statutory records, and documentation Requirements Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (B.
