Therapy Technician

Description Location : Monticello, Illinois Department: Therapy Services Position Type: Full Time Hours per week: 40 Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Holiday Requirement : None Salary: $16.38-$24.57 *Compensation dependent on experience # of Openings : 1 Kirby Medical Center is looking for an patient focused individual to fill our Therapy Technician position.

The Therapy Technician is responsible for assisting the therapy team to provide excellent patient care by preparing treatment areas, equipment and transporting patients to their designated therapist. The Therapy Technician helps to organize supplies, schedules patients and provide customer service.

CPR certification preferred Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Basic knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology. Basic knowledge of therapy equipment operation, maintenance and repairs of same. Basic computer knowledge.
