Director, Artificial Intelligence Security & Safeguards

Finance of America is seeking a Director, Artificial Intelligence Security & Safeguards to build and lead the enterprise program protecting AI systems, applications, and customer data. Reporting to the CISO, this hands-on role owns AI security strategy, governance, controls, and monitoring while personally conducting red teaming, adversarial testing, security reviews, and guardrail validation.

The leader partners with Security, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to enable responsible AI adoption and address threats such as prompt injection, data leakage, and insecure agentic workflows. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of security experience, including 3+ years focused on AI/ML security, with deep technical expertise securing production AI systems.
