What You'll Do

Support infants and toddlers in building independence, confidence, and social-emotional skills through play-based learning Create, plan, and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities — both indoors and outdoors Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, transitions, and rest time Observe and document children's interests to inform a creative, engaging curriculum Model emotional regulation and positive behavior — toddlers have big feelings, and you'll help them navigate those with care Communicate warmly and professionally with families every day, sharing milestones and moments Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and joyful classroom environment You'll Be a Great Fit If...

You have a genuine passion for infant and toddler development and early childhood education You are reliable, dependable, and consistent — our youngest learners count on you every day You're a team player who communicates openly and lifts up those around you You model calm, nurturing behavior even when little ones are having a big moment What You Bring Have or be working towards EDU 119 or an associate's/bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or classroom setting Knowledge of play-based, developmentally appropriate practices for infants and toddlers Strong classroom management skills Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program Ability to pass a successful background check and meet all NC licensing standards Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $15.
