Job description

• The job role will be based in Co. Man at time of rproduction to ensure complaimnce of quality & food safety.

  • Lead culture change for quality & food safety to ensure Co. Man development.
  • Lead training agenda for devoplopment of Co. Man team compentancycx
  • Conduct periodical witness sessions/Proficiency testing of Co. Man laboratory testing in a timely manner to ensure accurate laboratory testing of Co. Man Lab team as per Pepsico Standard that mitigate any risk of poor lab testing.
  • Carry out periodical checks on finished product as per standard sampling protocol & testing to ensure that finish product is compliant against product specification (ex; product quality, packaging quality).
  • Approve any process change validations/qualifications to ensure stability of product quality.
  • Manage customer complaints & ensure that they are investigated by Co. Man team. Review corrective actions with tracking & monitoring of Co. Man Customer complaints.
  • Develop & Report Co. Man Quality KPIs to business to ensure that Co. Man is compliant to Pepsi. Co standard.
  • Coordinate & schedule of external audits (AIB/GFSI) on Co. Man facilities with review audits reports & ensure that there is a solid action plan based on audits nonconformities.
  • Ensure that key food safety contingency protocols are compliant (ex; ensure that Mock recall is conducted periodically forward or backward for effective product trackability if needed).
  • Training & coaching of Co. Man team on Pepsico food safety standards as well as product quality procedures.
  • Monitors and validates the hygiene standards within the manufacturing environment through looking at periodical microbiology environmental sampling and testing according to the preset protocols and reports results accordingly.
  • Food Safety Expereience
  • Certified as a Safety Auditor
  • Total Quality Approach
  • Experience in Quality Control Management of similar position.
  • Technical Knowledge of Quality Management System & concepts.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal & analytical skills
  • Fluent English language
  • Computer literate.
  • BSc. in Chemistry or Food science / Technology
  • Spent the last 3 years in a similar capacity
  • Communication Skills

  • Problem Solving
  • Excellent command of English language (Scientific English is a plus)
