SQL Server Database Administrator 2

Position Summary

The SQL Server DBA 2 position assists the DBA Team with implementing, administering, and maintaining policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of Co. Serv’s SQL Server databases in a mission critical, 24x7x365 utility business environment. The SQL Server DBA 2 will spend most of their time providing the ongoing operations and support for Co.

Serv’s deployed SQL Server database systems although, to a lesser extent, time will be spent on enterprise or departmental projects by assisting in the development of project plans, documentation, database system architecture design, capacity planning, database installation or upgrade, best practice determination, timely completion of project tasks and providing status updates.
