Body Shop Technician

Job Description Hall's Body Shop in Elizabeth City is growing, and we need to ad an experienced Body man / Body Shop Technician to our busy I-CAR certified collision center. Pay based on experience. Summary: As a Body Shop Apprentice you are responsible for assisting Body Shop Technicians in repairing damaged vehicle parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

• Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
• Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received
• Report any repair or timeline changes to management
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manor
• Understand, keep up-to-date, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Body Shop Technician/Body man Qualifications:
• Experience working in a Body shop/Collision Center/Body Repair
• I-Car Training (preferred, but not Required)
• Knowledge of Vehicle construction
• Valid Driver’s License, with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations in the last 3 years (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) Mile.
