• Newton, NC, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Microsoft 365 Analyst supports the next phase of Peoples Bank’s Microsoft 365 transformation during a six-month contract engagement. The analyst works closely with IT and business units to help the Bank fully leverage Microsoft 365 capabilities while ensuring proper governance, security, compliance, user adoption, and administrative knowledge transfer. The role establishes best practices for SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and related services the Bank determines beneficial, with a focus on problem remediation, security configuration reviews, governance, training, and standards for a secure, well-managed environment.Qualifications: Education and Experience Required: 3+ years of Microsoft 365 administration or consulting experience. Required: Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including development of governance and security frameworks. Preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert; Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate. Preferred: SharePoint Administrator and financial institution experience; experience supporting Microsoft Copilot deployments, Microsoft Security and Compliance Center, and data retention and records management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, governance, security, and compliance practices. Strong training and communication skills. Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
