Are you a detail-oriented Civil Designer or Engineer looking to step into a role where you can truly own your projects? Quatro Group is partnered with a growing engineering firm to find a proactive professional ready to deliver high-quality design solutions across a diverse project portfolio. The Role Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and documentation process.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on creating practical, cost-effective, and compliant civil engineering designs.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed civil engineering designs, models, and technical specifications. Manage assigned project tasks, ensuring they are tracked and completed on time and within budget. Liaise with clients, sub-consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success. Conduct site inspections and attend client meetings as required.
Contribute to Tenders, Quotations, and Bills of Quantities. Provide technical advice to staff and management while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Qualifications
A University Engineering Degree (recognised by Engineers Australia), Diploma in Civil Engineering, or Certificate III in Drafting. Experience: At least 2+ years of relevant civil design experience within a consultancy or local government environment. Software Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and 12d, along with Microsoft Office.
Compliance: A valid Class C NSW Drivers Licence and a Safe. Work Site Induction (White Card). Attributes: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
