Full-Time & PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) Location: Asbury Methodist Village | Gaithersburg, MD Benchmark Therapies is looking for Full-Time and PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, MD! As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to provide thoughtful, individualized care while helping residents maintain their independence, build confidence, and stay involved in the daily activities that matter most to them.

Our PRN position is as needed, and the only coverage time requirement is a minimum of once every 6 months.

We have a need for both weekday and weekend coverage, and whatever availability a PRN applicant has is helpful to the team!

What You'll Do

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Help residents improve or maintain independence with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities Support residents in developing strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills Follow individualized treatment plans while recognizing each resident's unique needs and goals Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team Collaborate with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team to support resident progress Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health What We're Looking For Active Maryland COTA license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program A genuine interest in working with older adults Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care Someone who is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently while being part of a team Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living is helpful, but not required Full-Time Benefits We want our team members to feel supported both at work and outside of it.
