Project Manager

Position Title: Project Manager Duration: 06 month + (Possible Extension) Pay Rate: $55-57/hr on W2 Location: Cranbury, NJ Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support a cross-functional supply chain transformation initiative, with a primary focus on Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process optimization, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for mapping current-state processes, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and developing a practical future-state process and improvement roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Define scope, objectives, timelines, and participants for current- and future-state mapping exercises. Plan and facilitate cross-functional workshops. Process Mapping & Documentation: Document end-to-end processes, workflows, handoffs, systems, decision paths, lead times, and process ownership. Data Collection & Analysis: Coordinate data collection, validate assumptions with stakeholders, and establish performance baselines using operational KPIs.

Waste & Root Cause Analysis: Identify delays, rework, duplication, process variation, capacity constraints, and non-value-added activities. Future-State Process Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design improved processes, clarify roles and responsibilities, and identify technology and capability requirements. Improvement Roadmap Development: Translate findings into prioritized initiatives based on business value, feasibility, risk, dependencies, and effort.

Project Governance: Track milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies while providing regular updates to key stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build alignment across business, operations, technology, and other relevant teams. Change Management: Support stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption of redesigned processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

1–3 years of project management experience, preferably in eCommerce, retail, supply chain, or related environments. Experience with customer portals is an added advantage. Demonstrated experience implementing software solutions, advanced automation, or Agentic AI solutions. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, data validation, and root cause analysis skills. Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and ROI objectives. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across geographies. Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and leadership skills, including the ability to build consensus across cross-functional teams.

Experience with process improvement methodologies and Value Stream Mapping is highly desirable.
