What we are looking for
We are seeking two highly organised and proactive Project Coordinators to support our client’s agricultural projects in San Miguel ZDS. One position will support the development of the Biofuel farm and agricultural processing facility supplying fuel for sustainable energy. The second will support the Project Manager establishing the client’s farmer services, field teams, and buying station operations for coconut supply.
These on-site, 12-month contract roles focus on coordinating activities, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records. Each coordinator will focus on their assigned project.
Responsibilities
Shared responsibilities – both positions: Support the relevant Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination, work schedules, meetings, and follow-up on agreed actions. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and local stakeholders on resource requirements, deliveries, and project priorities. Maintain project schedules, records, and progress reports; track milestones, risks, and outstanding actions, and promptly escalate delays or resource gaps.
Farm and agricultural facility development – one position: Support coordination of farm establishment, land preparation, planting schedules, and agricultural facility setup with technical specialists and site teams. Coordinate workforce plans, farm inputs, equipment availability, and delivery schedules for harvesting, collection, shredding, and transport.
Track readiness of drying, pellet production, storage, and related infrastructure; follow up on safety, quality, commissioning, and supply-continuity actions with responsible teams. Farmer services setup – one position: Support the Project Manager in setting up municipality-level teams, field staff activities, and mobile buying stations, including training schedules and operating procedures.
Coordinate farmer engagement, registration and farm-data collection, agricultural advisory visits, and harvest schedules with field teams. Track buying station readiness for delivery checks, fertiliser and seedling distribution, and supply or quality issue reporting, including fibre and twine handling at designated stations.
Coordinate SAP CRM, identity-management, and e. Wallet workflow setup with authorised teams, keeping farmer support separate from identity approvals, pricing, and payment authorisation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required). At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, agricultural operations, field programme administration, or a related role. For the farm-development position, experience with farm establishment, crop production, agricultural logistics, or processing-facility setup is an advantage.
For the farmer-services position, experience with farmer engagement, agricultural extension, field-team coordination, or buying station operations is an advantage. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with Project Managers, farmers, field teams, technical specialists, contractors, and suppliers.
